The coat is extremely thick and dense, having a soft undercoat and stiff, coarse guard fur. The Eskimo Dog includes a mane of thicker fur around its neck, quite impressive within the males and adds an illusion of more size. This mane is more compact in women. Eskimo Dogs could be just about any colour,


with no one colour or colour pattern should dominate. Solid whitened dogs are frequently seen, in addition to whitened dogs with patches of some other colour around the mind or both body and mind. Solid liver or black coloured dogs are frequently experienced too. Most of the solid coloured dogs have whitened mask-like markings evidently, sometimes with spots within the eyes. Others may have whitened socks and nose stripes without any eye spots or mask.
